DESCRIPTION
String of Pearls, Curio rowleyanus (formerly Senecio rowleyanus) is a trailing plant with delicate, plump spheres (beads, pearls) along its long stems extending up to 90cm over time. It has been potted into a 12cm h x 12cm w glazed ceramic pot. This plant will continue to fill and spill and grow trailing lengths. If they get too long then simply snip 10cm lengths and place on top of cacti succulent soil ensuring leaf nodes are pushed into the soil to propagate more plants.
CARE
Water deeply so that the water drains through the hole at base and allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. The plant will then draw the water up through its roots and store in its leaves. It is better to underwater than overwater as overwatering can lead to root/stem rot. Too much water and you will notice leaves become transparent and turn mushy, may rot and eventually die. Underwatering will lead to puckered leaves but can be restored with watering.
DELIVERY
We deliver to inner Melbourne and surrounding metro suburbs. It is preferable to deliver plant gifts to a workplace, otherwise, please ensure someone is home to receive their plant gift or nominate a safe place to leave (all care, no responsibility). If unable to be delivered due to no concierge, no appropriate place to leave, no one home or no way of getting into an apartment building then goods will be returned to base for collection by purchaser or a re delivery fee will be charged.
PACKAGING
Plants will arrive with care instructions, and a handwritten note for gift giving. Please provide note details at checkout, below shipping address details, and include to + from with your message and the occasion. We wrap our plant gifts using sustainable kraft and tissue paper with gift note and care card attached.
