Hand built and wheel thrown, medieval inspired ceramic wine chalice or goblet with ‘Mediterraneo’ layered glaze

Clay is a speckled sandy colour and a perfect base for this layered glaze capturing the textures and colours of a Mediterranean landscape: layered greens, buff, subtle blues and whites.

Wine chalice measures approximately 17.5cm h x 8.5cm w, liquid volume 350ml

Dishwasher safe but hand washing recommended.

About the product

Description

Mediterraneo wine chalice. Medieval nights downing some cheese, red wine and meat off the bone with grapes to follow.  Mediterraneo inspired landscape on a ceramic wine chalice.  Layered buffs, whites, greens and a touch of blue and rust on sandy speckled clay base. Handmade on the wheel and glaze created by Allison Taylor.  Each piece is unique with subtle differences in size, glaze application and style.
