Peperomia ‘Coin Leaf’ + Ceramic Planter


BOTANICAL NAME_ Peperomia polybotrya (native to Central America + South America)

AKA_ Coin Leaf Peperomia, ‘Raindrop’ Peperomia

FEATURES_ Peperomia polybotrya is a waxy leafed succulent that loves bright filtered light with protection from direct afternoon sunlight. Being a tropical plant it likes warmth but not direct sunlight so will do well in a warm spot over winter indoors and direct sun outdoors. In summer protect from direct sunlight. Reaches height of 40cm.

PLANT PERSONALITY_ This tropical, jungle cactus is lush and lovely and has a very sunny disposition.

PLANT PAIRING_ We have paired this glossy leafed succulent with a matte black planter for contrast of texture and colour. A beautiful potted specimen for indoor and outdoor collections, particularly the waxy appearance of the leaves.

Paddle Plant + Ceramic Planter


Kalanchoe luciae. Aka Paddle Plant, Flapjack.  This Kalanchoe is a stunner with tall, big flat, thick leaves arranged in rosettes that colour from grey green to red and can grow to a height of 20cm h x 15 – 20cm w. With maximum sunshine and cold weather it turns a stunning, vibrant red.  We have paired this succulent with a matte black, glazed ceramic planter (10cm x 9xm) to contrast the green and red powdery hues.  The powdery coating is the plants own sunscreen and is a textural feature of this plant. You will receive a plant that is similar in size to this one but colour may vary depending on time of year purchased.

Euphorbia ‘Zipper Plant’ + Matte Black Planter


BOTANICAL NAME_ Euphorbia anoplia (native to South Africa)

AKA_ Tanzanian Zipper, named for the striping pattern along the margins of its angled stems.

FEATURES_ A very attractive, clumping and spineless cactus with attractive patterning.

PLANT PERSONALITY_ Bark with no bite. The cactus with no spikes. Zip it. Not good with secrets. Very attractive deep green with pattern margins.

Euphorbia resinifera + Ceramic Planter


Euphorbia resinifera is native to Morocco. It is a low growing, mounding succulent with rectangular stems that repeat.  It has small spines and a poisonous sap that should not be ingested so play it safe with positioning and handling as all parts of this plant are poisonous. Light green to grey green in colour, flowers in summer with small yellow blooms.  Planted into a perfectly paired matte black, medium, ceramic planter (13cm x 13cm) using a well draining cacti mix and top finished with river pebbles.

FEATURES_ Haworthia Zebra plants get their name from the raised horizontal stripes on their leaves. Zebra plants are very attractive, rosette, clump forming succulents that live happily indoors and outdoors. Green to deep green, skyward, tapering leaves with horizontal white and green markings.  An easy to care for sculptural plant with its low growing, clumping form is perfect for indoor shelf or table styling.

PLANT SYMBOLISM_ Nothing is black or white, or in this case, green or white. There’s always more than one way of looking at things.  Strives for balance, acceptance and conflict resolution.
