Bright Coloured Succulents (Outdoor)

All plants are outdoor plants but some adapt well to an indoor environment while others prefer an outdoor position for best colour and form.  Succulents with bright colours, such as reds, oranges and purples are much happier outdoors.  Certain succulents when stressed, brought about by exposure to extremes of cold in winter and ample sun in the height of summer, change leaf colour quite dramatically.  This colour becomes a feature of the plant. They generally require about 6 hrs of sunlight to achieve dramatic colouring. They are among my favourite succulents.
