Bright Indirect Light Indoors
Plants that do well indoors typically have darker green foliage and don’t require much sunlight to photosynthesize. The lighter green the leaf the more light they will typically need indoors. These indoor succulents thrive in bright, indirect light particularly over summer. In winter they can handle some direct sunlight. Jungle cacti (trailing, hanging succulents) also fit into this category and are listed separately here. Rooms that get lots of morning sun and early afternoon sun are perfect. Succulents that colour up in the sun, like jade plants, will revert to green indoors.
